Courses & Lessons
Structure
Courses are made of modules, and modules are made of lessons. A lesson is a piece of teaching content followed by a graded quiz. You can always see the full course outline — every module and lesson — before you lock in.
Lessons require an active lock. You can browse any course’s outline freely, but starting a lesson requires having USDC locked behind that course — that’s the point of the platform.
The quiz
Lessons end with a mix of question types:
- Multiple choice — graded instantly.
- Short answer — free-text answers graded automatically against a rubric, with partial credit. You don’t need to parrot exact wording; you need to demonstrate you understood.
Instant feedback
Each question can be checked as you answer it — you get immediate right/wrong feedback per question. Once checked, an answer is locked; you can’t fish for the right option by re-checking.
Passing
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Pass mark | 55 / 100 |
| Partial credit | Yes, on short-answer questions |
| Attempts | Failing is not punished — take the lesson again |
A failed attempt doesn’t cost you anything except time: only passing a lesson for the first time advances your course and your streak. There is no penalty for retrying.
Quick Recall
After you complete a course, lessons offer a Quick Recall check — a fast, no-stakes quiz to test whether the material stuck. Quick Recall never affects your progress, streak, or yield.
What counts toward your streak
Only first-time passes count as streak progress. Replaying a passed lesson (in Practice Mode or otherwise) is graded and shows you results, but writes nothing to your progress, streak, or XP.
