Fund your wallet

To lock into a course you need USDC on Solana in your wallet. There are two ways to get it, both available right from the deposit screen.

Option 1 — Pay by card

If your wallet doesn’t have enough USDC when you try to lock, the deposit form shows an Add funds button. It opens a card checkout (powered by Stripe, inside the wallet flow) that delivers USDC straight to your Solana wallet.

  • The amount is prefilled to slightly more than your shortfall (a small buffer above what you’re missing, minimum $10) so card and network fees don’t leave you a few cents short.
  • After payment, the USDC lands in your wallet within moments and your balance on the deposit screen updates automatically.

If you complete a card payment, wait for your balance to update before paying again. The app guards against accidental double charges — if it thinks a payment may already be in flight, it will ask you to confirm before opening checkout a second time.

Option 2 — Send USDC yourself

Already have crypto? Send USDC (Solana network) to your wallet address from any exchange or wallet. Your address is visible in the wallet section of the app.

Send USDC on the Solana network only. USDC on Ethereum, Base, or any other chain will not arrive in your Solana wallet.

Gas — handled for you

Solana transactions need a tiny amount of SOL for network fees. If your wallet has none, Locked In automatically sends you a one-time SOL top-up (0.005 SOL) the first time you need it, so your first deposit doesn’t dead-end on “insufficient SOL”. After that, keep a little SOL around — claiming your funds at the end needs roughly 0.003 SOL in fees.
